SAMPLE FORMAT
09.00 Arrive on site
Equipment issue. Each player is issued with: Gun camouflage, full face JT or Scott mask, team ID, Snood hood.
Players are now divided into two equal teams and assemble in the Neutral Zone for the Game briefing.
10.00 Briefing. The instructor will demonstrate how to use the Game equipment and provide players with the opportunity of having a few practice shots at the target boards.
The Instructor will then explain the rules and the object of the Game, and provide ideas on tactics and strategies for the first Game.
10.30 Game 1. The two teams are escorted by their assigned Team Marshals to their Flag Stations within the woods. On reaching their bases the teams prepare their `battle plan` for the Game.
On the sound of the whistle the Game commences. The object of the Game is to infiltrate the enemy territory and capture their flag and return it to your home station. Players are eliminated by being marked by a paint pellet. Once eliminated, a player returns to the Neutral Zone to await the start of the next Game.
Each Game lasts for approximately 30 minutes, and each Game involves different Flag Stations and is therefore played over different stretches of terrain.
17.00 Stop play and return equipment.
17.30 Depart. Exhausted, but happy (dusk in winter)
Note: Tea and coffee are available throughout the day.
