Final testing went brilliantly well. We spent a day at Snetterton in Norfolk, although a circuit we are not racing on this year, it is one we know well and can compare times on and handling characteristics.

The weather was kind and Ralf Firman arrived to help and advise on setup. We ran in the high 1.14s by the end of the first session, which was excellent as our previous best has been in the 1.15s. Ralf worked on various areas and we stayed in the 1.14s but got down to 1.14.2 by the end of the morning. The afternoon session saw us still on oldish rubber that had done two part days testing so was far from its best. A few more subtle damper and roll bar adjustments and Nik hit a 1.13.5 best, clocked both by myself and on his data logger, Ralf saw it on my old war issue stop-watch and said I had forgotten to wind it up!!. We fitted new rubber for the end of the last session but due to red flags we were unable to get more than two laps before the day finished.

We felt very confident with the car and made that fatal error of changing a good setup when we had found one. In the workshop we checked the corner weights and found them to be a little "off", we had altered them at Snetterton to change the rake of the car but by guess work only, so we changed them again.
