Big news from the USA with new Van Diemen Agent Appointed

More on the USA connection. Great News, we have appointed the well know and highly respected Eric Purcell of Earthbound Flying Machines Portland Oregon to be our main agent in the USA.

Eric is particularly suitable for this operation as he has extensive experience within the sports 2000 racing field having been involved in prepping engineering and constructing S2000 cars for twenty years winning 11 regional 2 national 2 ACRL driver championships and 4 ACRL team championships and has had drivers finishing 2nd in ACRL championship on 8 other occasions.

Also Eric has won best graphics and team presentation for three of the last five years. He has a host of other credits in racing, managing national champions and running team championships.

Jeff Glenn who he ran to second place in the 96 ACRL championship and as the 97 ACRL CHAMPION, will be our lead driver in 2002. Jeff is excited about the prospect of racing the Van Diemen and is looking forward to working again with Eric.

Eric has spent a great part of the last few years working on and designing the Carbir S2000 so he should know how to beat the opposition!!. He has a great shop up in Portland and I liked everything about the operation when I visited him in January, get your money on this guy as I predict we will see some good results this year.
