Latest on 2002 Van Diemen Drivers

Three new cars have been delivered from the factory, one to David Houghton, one to Graham Rowan and Nik Johnsons new car.

We still await a further two and they should be delivered in late April. The first of these will be fitted with a Pinto and shipped to the USA. More info on this here.

The first of the Duratec cars will appear hopefully for Les Johnson to drive at Silverstone on the 20th April. A new sandwich plate adapter has been designed and cast by Van Diemen and was being machined this week. Ralph Firman has said that he believes the Duratec is a beautiful engine and should go well in the car as it was originally designed to take up to 200hp.
